I know you have heard the old saying that “Laughter is the best medicine” but did you know that it is scientifically true? According to Psychology Today, there is factual evidence that laughter truly is an action that improves health in multiple ways. Laughter reduces pain, discomfort and improves job performance and relationships. This action also helps a person’s blood in multiple ways–reduces blood sugar and helps blood vessel function better. “It acts on the inner lining of blood vessels, called the endothelium, causing vessels to relax and expand, increasing blood flow.
